Description:

Defender's Quest is a hybrid Tower-Defense/RPG (think in Final Fantasy Tactics with Tower Defense).

The game focuses heavily on three things: tactical depth, personalization and history. That means no random encounters, emo boys with spiky hair or timed and repetitive battles.

The battle system is based on tower defense, with individual characters that take the place of the towers. Each character can level up, learn skills and equip weapons and items, allowing the player to customize their battle experience and strategy. The general structure of the game is similar to tactical RPGs, but with a battle system in real time. Game speed is adjustable, and commands can be performed while the game is paused.

It also features an engaging story written by an English major! The story strives to be fast, agile and always relevant to gameplay. Events and dialogue explain things as they become relevant to the player, minimizing exposure.
